Crazy Times

I have been so busy lately!  I am getting used to my new schedule and teaching at a new gym.  Bare with me…I will be up and blogging more regularly soon!

This summer I want to do yoga and the eight silken movements for several days straight.  Hopefully I will be updating you everyday on my progress!!!

Pillow Talk

As most of you know, I teach a lot of ways to reduce back pain in my class through stretching and muscle strengthening. However, what we don’t talk about is your sleeping habits. The best way to reduce back pain from sleeping is through sleeping on your back with your hands at your sides. If you are a side sleeper, a pillow underneath your top arm and between your legs will also help. Remember, you want to balance out your body. Do what feels right to you. Healthy sleeping patterns and habits make for a happier You!

Crackle by China Glaze

How many times during a yoga class do you look at your feet?  To be honest, that answer depends on the class.  However, it is always nice to look down at nicely painted toes.  During two of my classes in the past week I have mentioned my nail polish.  It is a blue base with a gray layer on top – but guess what?  – that gray layer is crackled.

It is a new nail polish by China Glaze.  You put on a base coat, then layer the Crackle polish in one light coat directly on top of it.  Right before your eyes the color starts to seperate.  Cool trick, and even cooler effect.  I think it might make a great Easter basket gift!  I know Ulta carries it, so check it out!!!

FREE Yoga during March in King of Prussia

On March 1st I started teaching at a new place!  On Tuesdays I will be teaching at Aspiring Champions in King of Prussia.  They are under renovations, but for the month of March they are offering FREE yoga classes.  Please feel free to pass the information along!
